What we collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site. It records which pages you view and how far you scroll, how you arrived (a search engine, a link, or an ad), your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. It sets cookies so a returning browser is recognised as the same visitor rather than a new one.

We have not enabled Google's ad-personalisation or advertising-reporting features, and we do not share Analytics data with Google for its own advertising.

Advertising

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited this site. It records page views, when you begin checkout, and completed purchases, and it sets cookies (including _fbp) so a returning browser is recognised. Purchase events are recorded on our checkout, which runs on a separate address. You can control this through your Meta ad preferences and through any tracker-blocking extension.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on, and any tracker-blocking extension will stop both Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel.

Photographs of faces

A photograph of an identifiable face can qualify as biometric or special-category personal data under laws including the EU and UK GDPR, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, and the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act. To be precise about what we do and do not do:

• We do not generate a faceprint, face template, face geometry, or any other biometric identifier from your photo.
• We do not run facial recognition, matching, or identification of any kind.
• We do not use your photo to train any machine-learning model, ours or anyone else's.
• We do pass the image once to an image-generation service to produce a single stylised portrait, then keep that portrait only for as long as stated above.

By uploading a photo you consent to that single, specific use. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, and we will delete the image.

Who else processes your data

• Cloudflare — hosts this site and stores uploads and portraits.
• OpenAI — generates the portrait from your photo, in a single request.
• Shopify — runs checkout and holds the order, payment and shipping details.
• Resend — delivers the email containing your portrait proof.
• Google Analytics — measures site traffic, as described above. It never receives your photo.
• Meta Platforms — the Meta Pixel measures our advertising and enables remarketing, as described above. It never receives your photo.

We do not sell personal information. We do use the Meta Pixel for advertising, which can involve sharing limited browsing and purchase events with Meta for cross-context behavioural advertising; you can opt out through your browser or a tracker-blocking extension.

Retention and deletion

Uploads and portraits are covered by an automatic 30-day expiry rule on our storage. Nothing needs to be done by hand for that deletion to happen. One consequence worth stating: because our copy expires, your portrait is attached to the email we send rather than linked. The attachment is yours permanently and does not stop working when our copy expires. Save it if you want to keep it.

Portraits are stored at long, randomly generated addresses that are not listed or indexed. Anyone you forward the link to could open it, just as anyone you forward the email to could open the attachment. Treat it as private. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Email support@avengerscup.co and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Photos of other people

If you order a cup for someone else, you are confirming they are content for their photograph to be used this way. Do not upload a photograph of a child, or of anyone who has not agreed to it.

What you are buying

A personalised colour-changing (thermochromic) cup, printed to order with a stylised hero portrait generated from a photograph you supply. It is decorative drinkware. The heat-reveal coating is hand-wash only and is not microwave- or dishwasher-safe; damage caused by either is wear, not a manufacturing fault.

The photo you upload

By uploading a photograph you confirm that:

• You own it or otherwise have the right to use it;
• Everyone identifiable in it has agreed to it being used this way;
• It is not a photograph of a child;
• It does not infringe anyone's rights and is not unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit.

We may decline or cancel any order where the uploaded image breaches the above, and will refund it in full.

The portrait is generated automatically and stylised by design. It is an interpretation of your photograph, not a reproduction of it. Results vary with the source image — a clear, well-lit, front-facing photo produces the best result. Dissatisfaction with the artistic style alone is covered by the money-back guarantee below, but is not a manufacturing fault.

Proof and approval

After you order we email your portrait proof. If something is wrong, reply to that email before the cup is printed and we will re-run it. Once a cup has been printed it cannot be altered.

Production and delivery

Each cup is printed to order. Production normally takes 7–14 business days, and shipping time is on top of that. International delivery can take several weeks. These are estimates, not guarantees, and delays at customs or with the carrier are outside our control. Standard worldwide shipping is included in the price. Import duties or taxes charged on arrival in your country are your responsibility.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include our standard shipping. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify; we never see or store your card details.

If something is wrong

Damaged, defective, or incorrectly printed cups are replaced or refunded. Our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Any statutory consumer rights you have in your own country apply in addition to these terms and are not displaced by them.

How to make a claim

• Email support@avengerscup.co within 30 days of delivery.
• Include your order number and, if the cup arrived damaged or wrongly printed, a photo of it.
• We reply within two business days with next steps.

Damaged, defective or wrongly printed

We replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer. You do not need to send the cup back and you will not pay any shipping — just send us a photo.

Changed your mind

We refund the purchase price. If we ask for the cup back, we cover return shipping; otherwise keep it. Refunds go to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

Fix it before we print it

We email your portrait proof before the cup is made. Replying to that email with a problem is quicker and cheaper for everyone than a return — we will re-run the portrait at no charge. Once a cup is printed it cannot be changed, only remade.

Cancelling, or an order that never arrived

Email us as soon as possible to cancel. If printing has not started we cancel and refund in full; if it has, the 30-day guarantee takes over. International delivery can take several weeks, so please allow the full estimate above before treating an order as lost — after that, contact us and we will replace or refund it.

Your statutory rights

This guarantee sits on top of the consumer rights you have where you live and does not replace them. In the EU and UK the usual 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods personalised to your specification, which is precisely why we offer our own 30-day guarantee instead.

Before you write

Two things answer most messages: cups are printed to order, so production takes 7–14 business days before shipping starts; and your portrait proof arrives by email after checkout, so check your spam folder before assuming it was not sent.

Hero Reveal is a trading name of Paradise Beach Club Rentals LP, 285 Point Lobos Dr, Satellite Beach, FL 32937, United States. That is our registered business address, not a shop or a returns address — we are online only, with no walk-in counter, and returns are arranged by email first. Orders are processed through Shopify and shipped by our production partners.
